Although the club has a long history it enjoys thoroughly modern facilities including a large re-furbished function room and restaurant, changing rooms and professional shop.
The traditions of the club are reflected in the camaraderie of its members – of all ages, sexes and golf ability – and the welcome given to visitors and societies.
In spite of, or perhaps because of, its past, it has maintained an equal opportunities policy towards members and has initiated a number of programmes to encourage the local community to take up golf.
The club works with the Welsh Golf Union to encourage new golfers and has an active programme in place to introduce people to golf both through the Welsh Golf Union Dragon Scheme and through participation with local schools. Please look at beginners for more information.
In short, the club is an excellent example of the best of its kind and welcomes you to visit it in real life to find out if it is your kind of place.
