The main reason for visiting this area in 2010 is to see an epic competition for the Ryder Cup, but have you thought of how you can improve your visit by mixing with other golfers in our bar and sharing the day-to-day experiences afterwards! Our members are keen to offer accommodation for out of town visitors and most of our members live less than five miles from the Celtic Manor. Why not take advantage of this to reduce your costs and to ensure that travel stress on such a busy occasion is minimized.

The club is less than two miles from the Celtic Manor and it can help you get most benefit from your stay, including car parking and transport from the club to and from the Manor itself. All our club facilities will be available to provide you with a breakfast (booked in advance) before you go to the Manor and dinner when you return. You may also decide to play golf on our course on those days when you are not attending the cup.

Finally, while you are here in Wales, why not take a proper holiday to visit some of the famous castles around Newport or other attractions in the area like the Big Pit industrial museum or the shops and restaurants of Cardiff – our national capital city.
