| The club has more than five hundred members from all walks of life including men , seniors ladies and juniors and an additional number of “social” members who no longer play golf but who want to maintain their friendships within the club. Annual membership fees range from about £450 to £ 600 for full male members down to £100 for juniors. There are special discounts for families.
The club runs four mens’ teams in Gwent county competitions, two ladies teams, a Wayfarers and Hallets teams. The juniors also have a team as does the senior section.
Official club competitions are held every Sunday during the summer although there are quite a few unofficial competitions amongst all members during each week!
The very Popular Cock-o-the North winter competition is also played on a Sunday from October to April and a typical entry of eighty plus teams of two participate each season.
