This very short par 3 hole is not difficult but tricky – accuracy is essential.
From the tee, all the left hand side is protected by thick woodland – you will probably lose your ball if you go into there. The course boundary is only five yards beyond the green. Thick woods and scrubland lie some twenty yards to the right of the green and you WILL lose you ball if you go there.
Finally, the tee box itself is “protected” by a large willow tree on the right hand side and a small pond in front. You may be surprised to note how may balls lie in the pond, which is only five yards from the box.
Now the green itself adds further problems! It has a severe back to front slope and a slight right to left borrow. A long downhill putt is not recommended. Oh! The green is also protected by four small but deep bunkers, two on each side.
I said it was tricky!
