This first hole is a straight drive from the tee to green, avoiding the bunkers along both side of the fairway, the first about 150 yards from the tee on the left and the second about 200 yards on the right hand site.

Most competent golfer use a three or five wood to reach the green, I use a driver!

Don’t hook the ball too far left because you may end up on the second tee. Don’t slice the ball too far right because you may lose the ball in the scrubland on the edge of the pathway.

The green is protected by small bunkers on each side and a large bunker behind. The green is true – but borrows in all directions if you are unlucky.
