1st Team Competition Results – St. Pierre v Llanwern – Lost; Llanwern v Newport – Won

2nd Team Competition Results – Llanwern v Brynhill – to be re-arranged.

3rd Team Competition Results – Llanwern v Monmouth – Drawn

Welsh Team Championships – Qualifying Round at Creigiau.

A big ‘shout-out’ for the girls who won their first round qualifier with a tremendous win against a strong Pyle & Kenfig team on Friday 4th May. Finals will be in Porthmadog in June.

Club Captains Drive-in – Mr. Bryn Parry, Club Captain drove in on Sunday 15th April. Congratulations to him and best wishes for a successful and happy year!

Members & Guests - Saturday 19th May 13.30 – 15.45. See the list on Notice Board, please support this most enjoyable event!

Diamond Jubilee – Tuesday 5th June. Competition followed by “High Tea”.

Ladies Open Day – Saturday 18th August. The list will be displayed shortly. Please make every effort to enter and also bring a friend (or two!) along to make this event successful!

Foursomes Competitions – Please note that Kath Gwatkin is again acting as a liaison link if you are looking for ladies to make up your number in any of the foursomes. If you are also looking for a game, please contact her on 420816 or 07969 145688

JUNIOR NEWSROUND

*Llanwern v Raglan Park – Won

*Lewis Brown won Division 2 Stableford Competition 15 – 28 handicap at Alice Springs with a score of 41. Very well done!

*The Gwent Boys 1st Division was held at Llanwern but unfortunately our team was not victorious.

*Jack Davidson played in the boys Mid Wales Open. He played very well scoring 75 & 76 – combined score 151. The winning score was 146 in very windy conditions.

*Katie & Bethan Davidson had a lovely time at the X-Factor in Cardiff (Talk- Talk draw). Photos to follow!

Weddings & Fuctions – Please note there is a wedding booked for Saturday 12th May at 3 pm.

THE COURSE IS CLOSED ON SATURDAY 12TH MAY FOR THE DEREK PUGH TROPHY COMPETITION.
